Ж-Ж CheRishEd JouRneY WitH fLaMe Ж-Ж

As she stood there, waiting anxiously, she just couldn’t believe what she has just done. Even more, what she was doing at the moment. Here she was, standing in a totally unknown place, waiting for that one person who she swore she would never ever meet in life. Talk about fate!!!

*sigh*

As the minutes crept by, her heart beat started increasing. It was too late to back out now and yet, she was in such a dilemma. How on earth did she get tangled into such a sticky situation? Come to think of it, it was her own big mouth n rash decision that had led to such a situation.

*slaps*

Get a grip and concentrate. It was almost an hour and yet, she was still waiting by the road. Where on earth was fLaMe? Why on earth didn’t he know the meaning of punctuality? Already standing in a totally alien place shocked the daylights out of her, but being alone was even more terrifying.

As she spoke on the phone to her best friend, freaking out and getting excited all at once, she saw a car pass by and stop in front of her. But being so engrossed in the call, she didn’t realize that the person actually came out of the car and stood right beside her.

Holy Sh#t!!! It was fLaMe!!!

*screamssssssssssss*

Hahaha.. It was actually the tiny voice in the brain that was screaming. He was here, by blood flesh, right in front of her.

She :- Hi. Can you park the car and we could just walk there?

He :- Get into the car la.

She :- Hmm.. Can I sit at the back?

He :- Just come n sit in front.

And there she went, sitting right next to him. However, the whole nervousness has seemed to vanish into the thin air. Despite not seeing each other for more than 2 years, it seemed so comfortable being beside him. That was the speciality of fLaMe. He always made her feel so comfortable and herself with him.

On the way to the “destination” , they did exchange a few words. Upon reaching there though, she whose sole intention was to visit his mum, backed out knowing that the entire household was there. I mean, how could she just walk in n face the whole family??? She had to be out of her mind to do so..

*giggles*

Well, cutting the long story short, after like about 20 minutes, they left the place. She thanked him and asked if he could drop her back. But he refused saying that he had something to do but he would come back at bout 10.45pm to see her.

She :- Huh, Why???

He :- Coz I wanna lepak with you la.

She :- Its ok la. You just send me back please.

He :- Ish, just listen to me. I’ll send you to KLCC. They wont close the place till 12 or 1 am. Ill come back by 10.45pm k.

She :- Oi, you want me to wait till 10.45pm alone ah? No need la. Just send me back please

But, somehow, about 25 minutes later, there she was, standing right in front of Kinokuniya in KLCC. As she found a corner to settle down and read a book, she thought of him and the effect he had on her. Somehow, without realizing, she smiled.

fLaMe, her fLaMe…How much she missed him although she just saw him like half an hour ago…

fLaMe.. The guy who belonged to her, or at least she thought belonged to her once upon a time and here they were now, behaving like two friends who had nothing but a sweet friendship all along. How weird and at the same time, how nice…

*sigh*

It was about 8.45pm when he called her.

He :- I’m in front of KLCC already. You come now.

She :- Aiks why so fast?

He :- I’ll send you to my cousin’s house. I don’t feel nice leaving you alone.

She :- Are your cousins with you in the car?

He :- Yeah I still have to go out with them but I’ll leave you in my cousin’s house first k. You can chill there

She :- NO NEED la… I don’t like to go to people’s house all. I rather sit here alone. Its ok you carry on. I’ll get a cab and go back

He :- Don’t talk nonsense. It’s not safe. Fine wait for me till 10.45pm than.

She :- Nevermind its ok. I’ll find my way back

And then they argued and argued…Both trying to convince the other. Finally, they came to an agreement. She would go n watch a movie and he would come and pick her up when it ended.

At 11.40pm :-

She :-Where are you? The movie ended already.

He :- I’m on my way. I’ll be there in 10 minutes.

She :- Hurry up la. I have never waited outside at this time. Scared la.

He :- Wait wait. I’ll be right there

At 12.05am :-

He came and gosh, how glad she felt. Finally, it was safe.. Hallelujahhhh!!!

She :- So, are you sending me back?

He :- Your friends are only coming back at 2am plus rite. I’ll send you back than

She :- So, where are you taking me now?

Thus, began the ride she would never forget in her life.

From one place to another, he drove n drove n drove. All along, she felt so comfortable n yet there were butterflies in her tummy. They talked, laughed, teased, argued and yet, it was all so euphoric.

He took her from one place to another. They stopped to grab a bite and it was so fun to watch him eat. Cute, in fact.

He showed her the place he used to hang out last time, the playground he use to sit n watch people and even the pub he use to chill in.

At some point, he held her hand. And holy shit, if that didn’t feel great but at the same time, she knew that if she didn’t stop it, she would end up falling even more for him than she already had and she didn’t want that to happen.

So, somehow, she managed to free her hand away only to find it once again, in his grasp. Well, since it felt so good and she knew this was only a once in a lifetime chance, she decided to just go along with it.

*chuckles*

However, good times always come to an end real fast, aite.. Same here. It was as if, those two memorable hours just flew by and it was time for him to leave her back.

As she left the car, she couldn’t help wishing that time had just frozen and she could spend the entire day, if not life with him. But again, wishes like that remained as wishes.

He made sure she reached back safe and sound, asking her to message him when he reached.

Seeing fLaMe so caring, only made her heart weep even more. Why would the guy she loved so much but who hurt her so badly seem to be such a lovable, caring sweetheart? Guess, only time can answer that. For now, it’s only those sweet memories that kept her going. If only she could control time….
