ReMiNisCinG ThaNkGivInG 2006!!! As I walk down the brightly litted up streets, the whole environment is breathtaking... it was at that very moment that i truly felt i was not in Malaysia..the eye blinding lights, the ever so busy streets..even the smell of smoke was enough to trigger the every single iota of excitement..thanks to shin wei.. chicago was heaven baby... yeah yeah.. a lillty hyperbole there but cmon..who could blame me? after spending months cooped up in the little 0331 room of mine, with only Mr.Pc as a companion...coming out n facing reality was really heaven... although when i first stepped foot in chicago..the first word that came out was FUCK.. keke.. (opps i seemm to curse a lot) *blushing*, thanks to the train n the weather, it was totally totally fun.. kekeke..not forgetting how both of us got lost.. yeah yeah... im not exactly a pro in directions.. keke..let alone shin wei... (but im a lil better since i know left n right) *giggling* we walked n walked for an hour with the heavy luggage dragging behind us..just coz we took on the wrong road at the beginning...it was only after an hour plus..we met the rest of the gang from michigan n northwestern at MiLLeNiUm PaRk!!! Gosh now that park was a realll beauty... the structures n the huge parabole there.. kekeke.. we were sooooo like rusa masuk kampung..well not me.. hehehee... not only was it thankgiving day but it was alsoooo CarYn'S BdaY! So we had a little suprise party for her at the park itself... and after that...off we went back to our hotel.. kekeke.. everyone was sooo worn out butttt... lol.. who could resist a few dancing moves in the room..lol..thats when the cat was out of the bag..we could c all those frequent club visiters showing thier moves...oo la la.. the next day was BLaCk FrIdAY!! yiippiee yippei ya ya!!1 it means shoppingggggggg..... we got up real early n went to this pplace called AurArA.. where they had all those branded outlets like calvin klein, gap, guess, polo, vinci..gosh.. u name it u have it.. the never ending list.. it felt like i was stepping into heaven... then it began..the shopping spree..lol.. so many things..so little time (not forgeting so little fund).. kekeke.. by the time came for us to leave..lol.. i remeber carrying loads of bags.. dayum..now i feel sooo remorse..me n my attitude..but (in a sober voice) - " what has to be has to be".. hehehe we went back,dumped our things in the room n went off to 6th street n michiga avenue..black friday or not..shops were crowdeddd with people.. i knew it..i so soooo knew it..i was not the only person who luvs shopping..there r sooooo many others who share the same passion.. kekeke...well.. ShoPaHoLiC strikes AgaIn.. lol..once again shopping.. i mean u cant blame a gal for shopping..especialy in chicago on black friday.. lol.. then it was NavY Pier..here v come!!! navy pier..total fairyland..from the time we stepped into the place it was totally really promisingly (guess i made my point) like fairyland..the shops were all so cute n colorful..they were decorated with pixies n peter pan..with candy bars hanging... i soo soooo luv that place.. one place for me to visit with my kids..lolll.... by the time we reached home..thanks to walking miles n miles, i had blisters all over my leg...poor legs..:( the next day was yet full of fun... (not forgeting the walking) we went to this muzium supposedly the largest in the world...huge or what.. i saw soooooooooo manyy animals...althought i visited only the fishes n the dolphin show.. keke..i slept of in the muzium)..loll.. but i cant help it.. i was soo freaking tired..what ya expect? lol.. the 4 dimensional SPoNge BoB SqUare PaNtS Show was terrific..it was not 3d but actually 4d.. i bet lynda n dyan would go crazyyy over it.. it was really the icing on the cake.. luv every bit of it... cool cool muzium..(another place for my kids).. kekeke...n me also..since i only saw like 1/4 of the muzium :( *OH MY GOSH!!! WHAT A VIEW!!!!* chicagoo is sooooo well planned... the roads r straight as rulers... its like blocks n blocks of buildings all so well built.. this was precisely what i saw from the top of SeaRs TowEr!!! the next place we visited afterrrr the muzium.. watching the short show on how Sears Tower was first build n seing n BEING in it... was truly truly memorable.. i skipped going out that nite.. poor legs needed a break..what will all the skin peeling n so on..the next day..we went to CHiNa TOwN where there was a restaurant called PENANG!! ohh goooooo PEnAnG!!! c how famous darling penang is...a place withh all local food(pg food)... n by the time we took the subway n head back to the hotel..it was only 3 hrs b4 we left chicago... but praise the lord... as we were walking back..i spotted a doll wearing this reallyyyy cool pair of jeans..oh gosh... i have neverr seen such a pair.. 3 hrs was a longgg time..so in we entered the shop.. luck or what..everything was soo sooooo nice.. this is when i feel soo clueless.. u just duno what to buy.. well a few pair of jeans..n guess what..i was running late... dayummm... rushing back to the hotel... packing up n runing back..it was justttt in time... n off we set back to darling old urbana-champaign... once again room 0331...the four walls i have grown to luv in this time... chicago is one place i wont forget...a place i die to visit again..if possible on another black friday..kekekeke.... PeAce N Out....
